Prior to Lightspeed, Siddharth was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He has worked extensively in sectors that include retail, media, consumer goods and energy, advising corporations on strategic, operational and organizational issues.

Siddharth received his BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with specializations in biomedical engineering and non-destructive evaluation and testing.
